We are happy to announce the fun LSR Christmas Dual Slalom for 2024!!! This fun easy-going dual slalom (head-to-head) race will be held at Hillend on Sunday 15th December 2024 from 3pm till 7pm and is open to LSR Members 24/25 (this does not include LSR Associate Members 24/25 at this moment in time). Provisional Programme: Coach Set Up - 14:30 to 15:00 Bib Collection - 14:45 to 15:15 Warmups - 15:00 to 15:30 Round Robin Rounds - 15:30 to 18:00 Knock Out Rounds - 18:00 to 18:30 Prize Giving 18:40 These races will be individual head-to-head races from first red. This will hopefully give everyone as many runs as physically possible!! We will have shed loads of sweets and plenty of Christmas cheer. The cost for the race is £25 per person and is limited to a max of 50 entries. There is no age restriction on this race, U8-MAS. Please only enter if you can 100% attend, as being a head-to-head it requires everyone to attend to function properly. Full running format for the race will be subject to the number of people who enter, but we will build it so you can get as many runs as possible in the time we have. Prizes will be for age categories as well as those who make it into the knockout rounds, so make sure you stay for prize giving even if you don't make it into the knockouts. Christmas dress is encouraged but not mandatory. A wee prize will go to the best Christmas dress as decided by the LSR Coaches.
